Almost 22 exists to confront one of the hardest truths facing the veteran community: far too many lives are still being lost after the uniform comes off. The name represents progress—not a statistic to accept, but a number we are determined to drive to zero. Our mission is rooted in connection, purpose, and prevention. We believe the battle doesn’t end when service does, and no one should be expected to carry that weight alone. Almost 22 focuses on raising awareness, reducing stigma around mental health, and building spaces where veterans and first responders feel seen, understood, and supported. Through community, physical discipline, shared struggle, and honest conversation, we work to replace isolation with belonging.
